Grand
Rapids is situated in beautiful west Michigan. The second
largest city in the state, Grand Rapids originally was a major
furniture manufacturing city. Furniture is still produced
today, however, the business community today is more diverse.
We are 40 minutes away from Lake Michigan but much closer
to any number of smaller inland lakes, rivers or streams boasting
clear waters to provide plenty of fishing and water recreation.
If you like a lot of colors in the fall you will not be disappointed.
The wide variety of trees that grow in Michigan provide plenty
of yellow, orange and red during late September through early
November. The fall is normally our deer hunting season for
the sometimes not so elusive Whitetail deer. During the winter
months you will find plenty to do. The same lakes that offer
fishing during the warm months also provide for great ice
fishing. Snowmobiling, cross country and downhill skiing are
yet more winter activities to keep a person occupied.
